CREATIVE PHOTOGRAPHY

Don Oberbeck 303-444-4568
Tuesdays 7:30-9:30pm starting February 17
8 weeks of Fascinating Informative Classes
+ 10 weeks of Unlimited Darkroom Use, only $295

If you have some camera familiarity but perhaps no darkroom experience, this is your course. Or if you have been doing darkroom work for some time and want to take your photography to the next level, this course will challenge you. Everyone moves at their own speed, so all are welcome. The content is similar to that of the Beginning Class, but after a review of the basics, we'll discuss creative techniques like multiple exposures, long time exposures, panning, zooming, working in very dim light, filters and flash photography. You'll learn to see the way a camera does, how Composition really works, and how to make very good photographs.

Then you will learn not only how to make great Black & White prints up to 20" x 24" in the darkrooms, and special effects like solarization, high contrast Kodalith, and toning but creative ways to use your film photographs in ADOBE PHOTOSHOP, and the incredible options available today, from web sized to wall sized prints, and how to build a portfolio to best show your photographs, for example, how about a 40 page hardbound book of your work for only $30? We'll show you how easy it is to create one of these portfolio books that will just amaze your friends.

This course includes 8 two-hour classroom periods from 7:30 to 9:30 pm on Tuesdays, and 10 weeks unlimited use of the B&W Darkrooms, as well as make-up credit for whatever Classes or Darkroom time you might happen to miss, during a later semester. We have five semesters a year.

You can Register for the Creative Photography Class by
e-mail, or calling Don at 303-444-4568 before Feb. 17.
