CITY OF BOULDER
NATURE HIKE PHOTO CLASSES
The City and County of Boulder have an Open Space and Parks system that is second to none in the world. The photographic opportunities here are limitless and so we occasionally schedule NATURE HIKE PHOTO CLASSES on Saturday mornings.
The cost is $35/person, or $50 for a couple, and the classes are limited to 4 people. You should bring your camera and hopefully a tripod. The classes run from 9:00am to around Noon, and the location will depend on the weather that day and class wishes, but there are hundreds of great choices from Chautauqua Park to Walden Ponds and even Boulder Creek, as in the photo below. Call 303-444-4568 for available dates.
A Great Gift for only $35...or just $50 for two.
Also, you should think about participating in the Boulder County Open Space Foundation Plein Air Art Exhibit of images of Open Space. Our participating photographers will have two weeks access to create photographs in certain usually restricted areas of the incredible, world class Boulder Open Space system.
Don Oberbeck and the Boulder Photo Center have been offering classes
through the
City of Boulder Parks & Recreation Catalog for more than 20 years,
including classes in Digital Photography, Beginning 35mm Film Photography, Studio
Photography and several levels of Photoshop, as well as kid's classes & Field Trips.
